the breathtaking bencio del toro. his name, his talent, his attitude, his persona (since i don't actually know him) and of course his good looks. i found these photos that were taken by david raccuglia while scrolling through one of my favorite blogs/ magazines: refueled. i was captivated by his moody shots of iggy pop (more love) and a needed to see more. refueled is genius in itself and must be bookmarked. full of all sorts of inspiration. love.

something not many people know about me is that i love muscle cars. i love their power, their speed, their sound...they're hot. i love their ability to be a 3-D snapshot of another time. they have the ability to retrieve memories that have been tucked away... for the people who own them, drive them or just see them passing by on the road. the one pictured above belongs to a friend of mine... somewhere at the beginning of his rejuvenation process. i envy the people who have the gift to bring them back to life. sometimes they do it as a labor of love. sometimes for the end result. sometimes to sell it and start over again. for all of these reasons and more... i love muscle cars.
